The aviation startup ZeroAvia has received a £2.7m (US$3.3 million) grant from the UK government. The funds will be used to support continued development of fuel cell/electric propulsion technology to reduce aviation CO2 emissions. ZeroAvia electric airplaneZeroAvia announced this week it has been conducting test flights of a hydrogen fuel cell powered electric airplane under the auspices of the FAA. It plans to build 10 to 20 passenger airplanes for flights up to 500 miles.
