The most popular stories on CleanTechnica last week covered various angles of Tesla fandom and the anti-Tesla narrative. There were also some Tesla Model 3 reviews, Tesla and EV sales reports, and a few pieces on the electric non-Tesla competition. Two solar stories and one oil story also slipped into the top

The top 20 articles on CleanTechnica last week, in terms of views, were led by quite an interesting and surprising article. If you didn’t see it before and are now curious, just be advised that it is delivered better on a computer than a phone — and scrolling down to the comments may be worthwhile sooner than later if you’re confused

Last week, Arthur Driessen — the intrepid Tesla Model 3 explorer crisscrossing the United States in his Tesla Model 3 — brought his 2018 Model 3 LR to CleanTechnica’s sumptuous New England regional offices, otherwise known as Blueberry Pointe, my home in Rhode Island. Since picking up up his car in April, 2018, Arthur has put almost 90,000 miles on the car in his quest to visit every Supercharger location in the

Traditionally, the domain of cars has been mostly one of males, guys, men, dudes, hombres, etc. Guys working on cars was, and perhaps remains, a familiar enough scenario that it’s assumed this kind of mechanical interest and ability is masculine

“It’s the little things.” “Stop to smell the roses.” “Don’t forget to enjoy life.” There are various phrases that try to remind us that big-picture topics don’t always dominate our lives. In fact, little things of daily life can influence us on a grand scale. With many little things, it wouldn’t hurt us to pause and appreciate them a little more

Yesterday, I wrote about the 4 top reasons we just bought a Tesla Model 3 and decided to say goodbye to a 2015 BMW i3 REx we loved. Below are 3 more reasons — not as big as the core 4 but notable nonetheless. Were any of these critical in deciding to bring home a Model 3? No, but they were big improvements over the i3 that continually came to mind and helped build the case for the switch. In our first day with the car, each of them was already noticed and appreciated

There is nothing vertical in vertical integration, and nothing horizontal in horizontal integration, and the integration is not really what vertical integration is about. In short, it’s a bad name for a complex matter. The last time I intended to write an article about it, something else flew out of the 6 fingers I usually write with and I don’t know really why but people liked it, so therefore I declare it was a good story despite my own opinion, which does not really count. If I learned one thing about writing, it is, trust your readers, follow your fingers, and don’t look back — and most important of all, don’t listen to your own judgement

The most popular CleanTechnica articles of the past week were led by (yet another) total cost of ownership analysis comparing the Tesla Model 3 and Toyota Camry. A couple of us here at CleanTechnica had previously published our own 5 year cost of ownership comparisons between these cars, but this one came from Loup Ventures, “a research-driven venture capital firm based in Minneapolis and New York investing in frontier technology.” Other popular stories covered Model 3 range lost while parked, a Tesla service experience, and much more regarding Tesla. Non-Tesla stories included the sprouting EV revolution, a solar-powered Chevy Bolt, Burger King’s Impossible Whopper, clean energy at 1¢/kWh, VW’s EV potential, and much more
