61 percent of Pinoys oppose same-sex marriage in PH – SWS

As the country celebrates the last day of Pride Month, a recent study of the Social Weather Stations (SWS) has revealed that majority of Filipinos oppose the legalization of same-sex marriage in the Philippines.
According to the study released by the SWS on Saturday, about 61 percent of Filipinos said they disagree with the proposed law that would permit same-sex marriages in the country.

Filipinos should be educated about how true democracy works, some lawmakers underscored on Tuesday following the recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey which showed that 78 percent of adult Filipinos in March 2018 are satisfied with the way democracy works in the country.
