CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—More than 50 leaders of the No-to-Jeepney-Phase-Out Coalition and Piston Central Luzon picketed the Central Luzon office of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board here at noon on Friday (Jan. 11) to protest the new developmental routes being drawn up by the agency.

Classes were suspended on Friday in several areas in Benguet and Pampanga due to bad weather. The Cordillera Administrative Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the southwest monsoon, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its regional weather forecast.
