4.1-magnitude quake rocks Sipalay, Negros Occidental

A Magnitude 4.1 earthquake hit Sipalay City in Negros Occidental on Saturday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported. In a bulletin, Phivolcs said the tremblor, which was tectonic of origin, struck four kilometers northwest of Sipalay City and was located at a shallow depth of 17 kilometers.
