There are a handful of hilarious and informative pro-Tesla Twitter accounts. Elon Musk’s may be the most famous (either his or Earl’s), and he’s got a pretty good handle on humor (dad humor), but another tweeter who makes me laugh on a routine basis and who I think more people should follow is The Short Shorts Historian (@TeslaHistorian). This history professor is quite adept at picking LOL-funny tweets from yesteryear and bringing them to the harsh neon lights of modern-day Twitter

The German plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) market continues on the fast track in September, having scored a new record, 9,452 registrations, which doubles last year’s result. Fully electric vehicles (BEVs) were up 150% year over year (YoY), and this time plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) were also helping (+51%), allowing the PEV share to reach a record 3.9% share last month. BEVs alone hit a best ever, 2.4%. That pulled the 2019 plug-in share to 2.7% (1.7% BEV)

The German plug-in electric vehicle market continued on the right track in August, having registered 8,121 units. Fully electric vehicles (BEVs) were up +104% year over year (YoY), while plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) keep suffering (down 9%). The plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) share was 2.6% in the month, with BEVs alone hitting 1.6%. That kept the 2019 plug-in share at 2.6% (1.7% BEV)

We still don’t have much info on the Volkswagen ID.3, but we have a little bit to go on regarding price and range. The base version of the ID.3 is supposed to be under €30,000. I’m assuming that means just under, so will round up to €30,000. The “up to” (idealistic) WLTP range on that trim is 330 km (205 miles). How do these figures compare to the Nissan LEAF and Hyundai Kona
