There’s a lot of temptation to compare the Ford Mustang Mach-E to the Tesla Model Y. Indeed, they’re basically in the same class, are in the same price range, have similar specs, and are both electric. No, that’s not a typo. As I watched the reveal last tonight, I was curious about how the Mustang Mach-E is going to be positioned within the Ford lineup, and after some time looking into it more, I find this new pony to be an incredible business risk to Ford

Now that the specs of the Mustang Mach E have been leaked (we got them as well but decided to follow the rules and not leak them), most articles are interested in how it compares to the Model Y. It’s going to be other items that differentiate the two cars and determine which one people are more comfortable with and decide to buy. Instead of listing all the ways the cars are similar, I’m going to list the ways they are different
