Over 12,600 people in NCR evacuated due to Kristine’s effects


MANILA, Philippines — A total of 12,622 individuals in 163 barangays in the National Capital Region (NCR) were evacuated due to the effects of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name: Trami), according to the Metro Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MMDRRMC). In a report on Sunday, the council said the affected individuals are taking shelter in 41 evacuation centers, 38 of which are schools. Danao poultry farm fire razes over P100M worth of properties
