MANILA, Philippines — Camille Clarin nailed a clutch three-pointer with 45.2 seconds left, sealing National University’s come-from-behind 64-59 victory over University of the Philippines in the UAAP Season 87 women’s basketball tournament at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion on Sunday. Clarin, who only had three points entering the fourth quarter, went for 13 points in the payoff period on four three-pointers and a free throw to lead the Lady Bulldogs’ comeback from a 44-48 hole to start the frame. Gov’t aid for typhoon victims reaches P1.1 billion, says NDRRMC


MANILA, Philippines — Government aid provided to victims of the recent tropical cyclones has reached P1.1 billion, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said Sunday.
