Kai Sotto laments ‘darkest day’ after ACL injury


MANILA, Philippines—Kai Sotto will be sidelined for an extended period of time after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee. Sotto suffered the injury early in the Koshigaya Alphas’ 79-77 loss to the SeaHorses Mikawa in the Japan B.League on Sunday. “The worst way to start the year, might be the darkest day of my basketball career, when I was told I tore my ACL. Suspension of SSS contribution rate hike House reso filed


MANILA, Philippines — A resolution urging the Social Security System’s (SSS) policy body to defer the implementation of the scheduled contribution rate increase to ease Filipinos’ burden on increasing costs due to inflation was filed before the House of Representatives.  Baguio City Rep.
