Before heading off to a Filipiniana event at Staples Center, Manny Pacquiao went the whole nine yards in training at the Wild Card Boxing Club.

Ten days before facing Adrien Broner to defend his WBA welterweight crown in Las Vegas, Pacquiao racked up eight rounds of sparring, four apiece against Australian George Kambosos and Ecuadorian Arnold Gonzalez.

Pacquiao then capped his day by going five rounds of padwork with Buboy Fernandez, who will be the voice in the corner come fight night at the MGM Grand.

At Staples on Tuesday night, Pacquiao took the spotlight during a Filipino Heritage Night that had the Los Angeles Clippers home game versus the Charlotte Hornets as main event.

On Wednesday at the Wild Card, Pacquiao and Broner are hosting separate open workouts for the media.

On Monday, Pacquiao will drive to Las Vegas, where he made his splashing US debut in June 2001.

Though favored heavily to win, Pacquiao is not taking Broner lightly, saying he does not want to experience what befell him seven years ago when he was brought to the dreamland by Juan Manuel Marquez.

Pacquiao also suffered the same thing when he got clicked by Rustico Torrecampo more than 20 years ago.
