Go tells Joma: ‘Come home, get a medical check up with Duterte’
KIDAPAWAN CITY – Special Assistant to the President Bong Go on Saturday challenged Communist Party of the Philippines founding chairman Jose Maria Sison to submit himself, along with President Duterte, to a medical check up to determine if he is healthy.
“Come home, join President Duterte into a medical examination and let us see who among you are healthy,” Go told reporters at the sidelines of the opening program of North Cotabato’s foundation anniversary on Saturday afternoon.
“Let’s see who among you has the clean bill of health,” Go told Sison who earlier declared the President is sick and in “coma” and is no longer capable of leading the country.
“I assure you, the President is in tip-top condition, he is capable of completing his term,” Go said, adding that the President was in Jolo on Friday to visit wounded soldiers.
Reacting to claims by an opposition lawmaker that the supposed visit of President Duterte to Israel and Jordan was not meant to see Filipino workers in those countries but for the President to undergo medical and health checkup, Go said they can join the President if they so desire.
“He can join the Presidential party, he is a lawmaker so he will know,” Go said, reacting to claims by Magdalo partylist Rep. Gary Alejano that the President’s health is questionable.

Duterte’s special assistant said the President’s health issue is a “recycled claim” and should be ignored. “Last year pa yang issue na yan (It has been an issue since last year),” Go said. /ee
