2 suspected drug pushers nabbed in Quezon

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested two suspected drug pushers in separate operations in Tagkawayan and Pagbilao towns in Quezon province on Friday and Saturday, police said.

Armed with a search warrant, anti-illegal drugs operatives raided the house of Nerio Odi Sr. in Barangay (village) Magsaysay in Tagkawayan around 6:15 a.m., Senior Supt. Osmundo de Guzman reported.

Six plastic sachets of shabu or crystal meth with undetermined quantity and a homemade caliber .38 revolver with seven bullets were seized during the operation.

In Pagbilao, authorities also armed with a search warrant arrested Pablo Ravila Jr. when they found three sachets of shabu weighing a total of less than one gram inside his house in Barangay Alupaye around 8:20 p.m. Friday.

The suspect, a former drug surrenderee in Lucena City, was number five in the local police list of drug pushers. /muf
