Govt disaster agency raises ‘blue alert’ as floods hit metro, parts of Luzon, Visayas
THE National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) raised a blue alert on Tuesday as the southwest monsoon enhanced by tropical depression “Henry” flooded Metro Manila and parts of Luzon and the Visayas.
An initial report said four houses in Negros Occidental were damaged, displacing four families or 15 individuals.
Henry left the Philippines early Tuesday after making landfall in Cagayan. DEMPSEY REYES
