4 drug suspects, including minor, arrested in Marikina
MARIKINA City Police arrested three illegal drug peddlers, including a minor, in a buy-bust operation Thursday night.
The suspects identified as Miguel Joseph Arias Lucinario, and Danica Joyce Tapar, a minor, were arrested at SSS Village, Barangay Concepcion after selling sealed marijuana to a poser buyer.
Operatives were able to recover 800 grams of suspected marijuana leaves with fruiting tops, thirty-one pots of grown marijuana plants, three medium sized pots of grown marijuana, five small glasses of grown marijuana, one plastic sealer, two bongs, one digital weighing scale, and two 500 peso bills used as buy-bust money.
The suspects and the recovered pieces of evidence were brought to Philippine National Police’s (PNP) crime laboratory.
The arrested minor was turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
The suspects will be facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. ATHENA LUCASAN
