Page posing as DOH to promote product for insomnia cure is fake — DOH
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) on Friday warned that a certain page using the agency’s name to promote cure for insomnia is fake.
In a Facebook advisory, the DOH said that “misleading claims” online said that an alleged “nutritional milk” is the cure for chronic insomnia.

“The post, which falsely associates the DOH with an unverified health product, is not endorsed, approved, or recognized by the Department,” the advisory read.
The DOH said that there is no “instant cure” to insomnia. However, it stressed that “[w]hile healthy habits support better sleep, effective treatment requires proven methods like sleep hygiene, therapy, and medical guidance.”
The health agency also reminded the public to be cautious against fake health claims and products that use deceptive marketing strategies and the agency’s name.
