Over 30,000 children receive gifts from Marcos gov’t
MANILA, Philippines — Over 30,000 children nationwide received gifts from the government’s “Balik Sigla, Bigay Saya” program, according to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).
In a Facebook Live on Sunday, PCO showed a glimpse of the program’s facilitation led by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his family at the Kalayaan Grounds in Malacañang.
According to the PCO, the activity aims to cater to children ages four to 12 through gifts and special activities.
The main event was conducted in Malacañang, but the PCO said the program was also held in 17 local government units in Metro Manila and three LGUs in Visayas and Mindanao.
There were also games, entertainment, and surprises with various performances and activities.
