“Mabuti na lang [talaga] at naging mabait sa atin si God at hindi nya na hinayaan na maranasan natin anak [‘yung] mga naranasan ko dati,” he said. “Papalakihin kitang me takot sa diyos, me respeto sa kapwa at me ginintuang puso.“

(It’s a good thing that God was kind to us. He didn’t allow you to be born at a time where you won’t experience the hardships I had back then. I will raise you to be someone who‘s faithful to God, respectful to everyone, and with a golden heart.)

Mary Jhoy also revealed that she and Boss Toyo got pregnant through in vitro fertilization (IVF), saying it was a moment that God allowed to “happen.”

“Una kong baby halos ilang million nagastos namin para mabuhay [siya] kaso sorry kambal namatay padin kayo,” she said. “Hanggang umulit ulit ako sa IVF para magkababy ulit. totoo yun ilang million magagastos mo madudurog ang puso mo, emotion, physical at financial. Pero diba nga, ‘When the time is right I, the Lord will make it happen.’ God is really good all the time,” he said.

(We spent almost a million pesos on our first baby — which turned out to be twins — but we’re sorry that we lost them. Until as pushed through with IVF to have a child. We spent another million, which crushed our hearts, ans made us suffer, emotionally, financially, and financially. But they said, “When the time is right, I the Lord, will make it happen.” God is really good all the time.)
