Willie Revillame announces new ‘Wil to Win’ time slot, removal of show segment

Willie Revillame informed fans of the adjustment on the time slot of “Wil to Win,” saying the variety show will now air at 5 p.m. instead of 4:30 p.m. after the removal of its 30-minute segment.

“Starting on Monday (Sept. 16) po, alas singko na po tayo magsisimula. Five o’clock para kasama niyo na kaagad ako,” the TV host said during the show’s episode on Friday, Sept 13.

“Wala na tayong magiging ‘Sakorera,’ 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. ‘yon. Kasi ang gusto niyo ata ay lumabas na agad ako nang alas singko—sama-sama na kaagad tayo,” he added.

“Sakorera” is the segment that begins the show, although it does not include Revillame and is only hosted by his co-hosts Cindy Miranda, Ana Ramsey and Roberta Tamondong, among others.

Revillame did not immediately expound on the show adjustments, but he teased upcoming surprises for their viewers.

“Marami pa kaming surpresa at regalo this coming Pasko. Itong October, anong mangyayari sa ‘Wil to Win?’ Abangan niyo po ang aming announcement,” he stated.

“Anong mangyayari sa TV5? Marami pong bago dito. Ang importante para sa inyo ito,” he further told fans.

“Wil to Win” has recently been a trending topic on social media after several incidents including when Revillame aired his dismay over the staff of the show and when he took back a player’s chance to win a cash prize after he learned that the latter is an avid fan of the show’s competitor “Family Feud.”
