Top 25 Awards ceremony celebrates immigrant success: Watch video

On August 14, 2024, the 16th annual Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Award winners were celebrated at a ceremony held at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto. Over 20 of the Top 25 were in attendance and gave inspirational speeches as they received their awards.

Presented by Western Union, the Top 25 awards highlight the inspiring success stories of immigrants and refugees from around the globe who now make their home in communities across Canada. The award winners exemplify the diversity Canada represents and have made significant economic, social, and cultural contributions to their new home. This year’s program is also sponsored by COSTI and Windmill Microlending.

The second annual Windmill Microlending Empowerment Award, which recognizes an individual who works above and beyond to empower and support the successful journeys of immigrants and refugees to Canada, was also presented at the event. 

We were thrilled to receive a congratulatory message for the 2024 Top 25 Canadian Immigrant recipients from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, which was aired at the ceremony.
