The summer transfer window won’t reopen in Europe for another month, but there are plenty of moves in the works and gossip swirling around. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!
Manchester United have made an approach to sign Lille defender Leny Yoro, according to Marca.
The Red Devils are reported to have made an offer worth close to €60 million for the 18-year-old, amid hopes of beating Real Madrid to his signature.
Los Blancos have been tracking Yoro for some time, but they are said to have informed his representatives that they need to be patient if they want to make the switch to the Santiago Bernabeu, with the LaLiga club not prepared to go all out for him just yet.
Manchester United believes that Yoro could play a key role in helping rebuild their squad but are aware that they had to move quickly to secure him, with Paris Saint-Germain also watching the situation. The young centre-back, who has played for France at every youth level, has previously informed Real Madrid of his desire to join them, but it looks as though he must resist the temptation of a move to Old Trafford should Lille allow talks over personal terms to take place.
Yoro made 37 appearances across all competitions for Les Dogues last season.
