Celebrating newcomers at the annual Toronto Newcomer Day

On Thursday, May 23, 2024, Torontonians are invited to welcome and celebrate newcomers at the 10th annual Toronto Newcomer Day. The event features an array of cultural performances, a Citizenship ceremony for new Canadians, a variety of cuisines, and numerous other activities. You can shop for unique items in the newcomer marketplace, sample an array of dishes at the food fair, enjoy free Tim Hortons beverages, and join in the fun with live music, guided tours, interactive activities and more.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with representatives from local organizations to discover resources available to assist them in settling into Toronto.
Since its inception in 2015, Toronto Newcomer Day has become an annual tradition aimed at extending a warm welcome and providing valuable information to newcomers various services. Additionally, it serves as a platform to celebrate and highlight the invaluable contributions of newcomers to the city.
Event details:
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Nathan Phillips Square, 100 Queen St. W., Toronto.
