Loisa Andalio says boyfriend Ronnie Alonte is ‘the one’

Loisa Andalio boldly stated that she considers her boyfriend, actor and “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” costar Ronnie Alonte, as “the one,” as she explained that she wouldn’t stay with him if she doesn’t see their relationship to be worthwhile.

“Kay Ronnie [Alonte], masasabi ko na siya na (I would say that Ronnie Alonte is the one),” she said during a media conference for the ABS-CBN-TV5 collaborative teleserye. Her boyfriend, who was seated behind her at the event, was seen smiling while listening to her remark.

(Would I choose to stay in our relationship for a long time if I don’t see him as someone for the long run?)

Meanwhile, Alonte — in an apparent nod to their project’s title — said Andalio is his definition of “paradise” while noting that he doesn’t have to beat around the bush when it comes to showing his love for the actress.

Totoo lang,” he said as he pointed to his girlfriend’s direction.

(Aside from my family and the Lord, the number one person who’s my paradise is the woman in front of me. It’s true. I’m not giving a showbiz answer here.)

The actor then shared that Andalio has always been his companion in several moments of his life, whether it comes to real life matters or their showbiz careers.

Inaalalayan niya ako kapag may mali sa’kin, nagtutulungan kami,” he said.

(I had to be apart from my family when I entered showbiz, and Loisa became my companion. She’s the one who guides me when I have problems or go through stress, even when it came to the point where I would feel depressed, she’s there. She helps me. Even in our work, in acting, she’s there for me when I make mistakes. We help each other.)

During the press conference, the “Love in 40 Days” star said she and Alonte are “grateful” for the many opportunities coming their way, while hinting that they’re open to taking mature roles in the future.

(Ronnie and I are always grateful for the projects given to us by Dreamscape Productions. Compared to our previous show “Love in 40 Days” which has fantasy elements, “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” is very mature.)

Andalio will take on the role of Baby, who pretends to be the long-lost sister of Diana (Charlie Dizon), while Alonte will portray police officer Jonaf Salvador.

The teleserye, which premiered in July 25, also stars Alexa Ilacad, Elisse Joson, Charlie Dizon, KD Estrada, and Joseph Marco. EDV
