Diesel and kerosene prices up, gasoline slightly down

MANILA  -Pump prices of petroleum products will have mixed movements on Tuesday, July 11, according to local oil firms.

In separate advisories, the oil companies said they would raise the price of diesel by 75 centavos per liter. The price of kerosene will likewise rise by 50 centavos per liter.

Meanwhile, gasoline will see its second week of price rollback, as it is expected to decline by 20 centavos per liter.

Seaoil and Shell will implement the price adjustments by 6 a.m. on Tuesday.

Last week, the prices of gasoline and diesel both declined by 70 centavos per liter, while kerosene saw an 85-centavo-per-liter decrease.

Fuel prices rolled back by up to P0.85 per liter effective July 4

According to the Department of Energy, this resulted in a year-to-date net decrease of P3.70 per liter for diesel and P6 per liter for kerosene. Gasoline had a net increase of P5.85 per liter.
