Traffic builds up ahead of Bongbong-Sara rally in Cebu
CEBU CITY — Vehicular traffic occurred at the Cebu South Coastal Road in this city as a grand campaign rally of presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his running mate Sara Duterte-Carpio is set to be held tonight, April 18.
As of 6:30 p.m., musicians were seen on stage to entertain the crowd which came from different places in Cebu.
At least 100 policemen were deployed in the open venue to maintain peace and order.
Marcos and Duterte-Carpio got the support of both Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama and Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia.

In the 2016 vice-presidential elections, Marcos lost to Leni Robredo in the vice presidential race in Cebu.
Cebu province, which comprises 44 towns and six component cities, is the country’s most vote-rich province with 3.2 million voters.
