VANCOUVER, B.C.: Thursday, Feb. 24. Today’s weather is expected to be sunny and frosty, with a high of 4 C and a wind chill factor of – 12 C this morning, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada, which has posted a special weather statement for the cold snap. The agency says overnight temperatures are expected to dip down to between – 5 C and – 10 C, with wind chill values as low as – 15 C. There is also a chance of light flurries tonight as a weak weather system moves across the region, according to the agency, but no accumulation is expected. The weather is expected to gradually start warming up on Friday, although the daytime is expected to be clear and cold again, with a high of 6 C and a wind chill factor of – 11 C in the morning. Overnight Friday, expect a low of zero and then there’s a chance of showers on Saturday, highs of 8 C. On Sunday, the rain returns with a high of 9 C. Then, next week will likely start out with rain on Monday, followed by a chance of showers on Tuesday and Wednesday, but with temperatures reaching as high as 11 C. Read More
