NOAH Business Applications is looking to expand their footprint outside the Philippines as they partner with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
“We have a five-year plan to really roll out the NOAH Business Applications in the international market,” NOAH Business Applications President and Chief Operating Officer Lofreda del Carmen told The Manila Times.
She said they hope to begin export activity in Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia and Thailand this year, with the help of DTI.
“We are actually getting the assistance of the Department of Trade and Industry to help us connect to the different commercial attaches from different countries,” Del Carmen explained.
DTI’s Foreign Trade Service Corp. Executive Director Magnolia Uy said the partnership could help further the promotion of exports in the country.
“We can work with you hand-in-hand in promoting NOAH to other countries or to other markets. I would really like to encourage NOAH to coordinate directly with the commercial attaches around the world,” Uy said in her keynote speech during the Realities of Digital Transformation Forum in Makati on Tuesday.
She added that DTI can be of assistance to the software development company through trade promotions, investment promotions, commercial intelligences, investments and entrepreneurship.
Developed by Forecasting and Planning Technologies Inc., NOAH Business Applications aims to provide corporations a technology to manage their resources better.
Del Carmen said they started developing systems as early as year 2000 through small processes and transactional processes.
Since then, they have grown and increased their clientele list and now offers 16 galleries of business applications focused on financials; realty; project management; warehousing; production; human resource management; forecasting, planning and budgeting; customer relation management; financial consolidation; distribution; procurement management; loan management; banking; mobility or internet of things; data management and; analytics, reporting and dashboard.
Del Carmen explained that each gallery is made specifically for one industry but some clients opt to get more systems aside from their field of specialty.
“Most of the time, they [also] want end-to-end solutions. So they get [the] financial, they also get [the] human resource management system [and] technology support,” she said.
NOAH Business Applications currently has notable clients from the real estate industry, banking, financial and electronics industries.
Del Carmen assured their system is safe and private as they offer a multi-level security, which can also modify to suit the company’s needs.
“There are access levels per transaction that a certain individual is given. The servers, whether on cloud or on premise, are also secured. There are security layers being placed there. And if there will be external access, another security layer is being implemented,” she explained.
