Ex-communist leader arrested in Pampanga

A former official of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) was arrested in Angeles City, Pampanga on Tuesday, police said.
Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac, Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesman, said Rodolfo Salas alias “Commander Bilog,” 72, was arrested at 5:50 a.m. in his residence at Doña Carmen St., Mountainview, in Balibago.
Police served the warrant of arrest to Salas, who is facing 29 counts of murder.
