Five-vehicle crash closes lane on Second Narrows Bridge, delays traffic

A five-vehicle crash on the Second Narrows Bridge connecting Vancouver and North Vancouver has caused a northbound lane closure and traffic delays.

There is no word yet on whether anyone was injured in the crash that happened early Friday morning.

Const. Tania Visintin, a spokesperson for the Vancouver police, confirmed emergency crews were on the bridge responding to a five-vehicle crash.

She said the don’t yet know the cause of the crash, which has slowed traffic through Vancouver and Burnaby during the morning commute.
