THE Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation Inc. (FPPF), the venerable photography institution and accredited Tesda assessment center, hosted this year’s biggest international photographer’s convention and trade exhibit.

FPPF Chairman Eduvegis Huang announced that the 34th Photoworld Asia has the active participation of Filipino FPPF members and professional photographers from overseas. She praised and commended the continued cooperation and overwhelming support extended to the federation by sponsors from major photography establishments in the country.

The photography trade show and exhibits runs from January 30 to February 4 at Glorietta, Makati and is free and open to the public.

The international photographer’s convention at AIM Makati from January 31 to February 2 required registration and an entrance fee. Local and international photographers may visit photoworldmanila.com.

With this year’s theme, “Lifestyle and Travel,” Photoworld Asia 2020 aims to provide participants with technical know-how from the collective expertise of professional and experienced resource speakers, according to FPPF President and Project Director Pablo “Ka Lito” Beltran.

“Aside from documenting our travels, we know that commercial travel photography provides imagery for a trillion-dollar global tourism industry,” said Photoworld Asia 2020 Chairman James Singlador
