Police and family are worried about the safety of 61-year-old Monica Winter, who was reported missing Monday after she failed to show up for work.

She was last seen on Friday leaving work in the 1200-block of West Broadway Avenue in Vancouver.

University RCMP have determined that Winter’s bank card was last used Friday at a grocery store shortly after 5 p.m., and that her fob key was used at 6:20 p.m. the same day in the parkade of her home in the 5900-block of Gray Avenue at the University of B.C. Endowment Lands.

Her car, a blue Toyota Corolla, was found Monday by Burnaby RCMP near the Fraser River Foreshore Park on Tillicum Street and Fraser Park Drive.

Winter is described as a white woman who stands 5-foot-5 and weighs 169 pounds.

Monica Winter — along with her dog Chloe — was reported missing Feb. 10 after she failed to show up for work.

Police say Winter’s dog, named Chloe, is also missing.

Anyone with information can contact the University RCMP at 604-224-1322 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
