Vancouver Weather: Sunshine for the weekend (finally!)

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Saturday, Feb. 8. It looks like Metro Vancouver will see plenty of sunshine this weekend, a welcome relief for many no doubt after seemingly endless days of rain. Saturday is expected to mainly sunny, with a high of 8 C, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. Watch for that temperature to drop overnight down to – 1 C, with clear skies, and then Sunday also looks sunny, with a high of 6 C. The sunny weather continues into Monday, with a high of 5 C. Then it looks like a mix of sun and cloud for Tuesday, with a high of 6 C, and the showers return Tuesday night. On Wednesday and Thursday, there’s a chance of showers, with highs of 7 C both days.
Today: Mainly sunny. Wind northwest 30 km/h except 60 near the water this morning. High 8 C. UV index 2 or low.
Tonight: Clear. Low – 1 C.
Tomorrow: Sunny. High 6 C. UV index 2 or low.
