On Monday, the City of Vancouver unveiled its recommended proposal for a redesign of the Granville Bridge that would re-allocate two lanes of car traffic to create a larger pedestrian pathway and separated two-way bike lane on the west side of the bridge.
The redesign would reduce the number of cars lanes from eight to six.
The project has an estimated cost of $30 and $40 million.
If council approves the project, construction could begin in 2021, and be completed by 2022.
What do you think?
