Realtor Wendi Warm was faced with a harsh reality this past summer when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.  She wanted support and guidance through the hair loss process and we gave her a style that made her look and feel confident and like herself again.

Wendi had medium density long layered hair.  She used to colour process it, and took great care of it. When her hair loss became apparent, due to chemotherapy treatment, she had to make the difficult decision to shave it off.

It was an emotional moment for her, and we did our best to proceed with grace, gentleness and great care. Before the appointment, Wendi visited the helpful and experienced folks at Eva and Co. Wigs, and purchased a natural hair wig that looked similar to her previous colour and length.

We cut and styled her wig to resemble her previous hairstyle, which had long layers and a face-framing fringe.  We customized the style by eliminated weight out of the wig, then styled it with soft waves using a curling wand. It made Wendi feel confident and beautiful.

To lift her spirits and celebrate that her cancer is now in remission, Wendi decided to schedule a makeup lesson to refresh her look.

We wanted to keep her look very fresh and simple and started by moisturizing and evening out her complexion using a BB cream.  We used neutral eyeshadow colours to contour her eyes, then used a black waterproof liner to tight line the upper eyelid.

We curled her lashes, which had grown back after using a lash growing serum, then coated them with black mascara.  Her eyebrows were also feeling a little sparse so we filled them in to frame her beautiful eyes. We added a hint of cool-pink blush and coated her lips with a sheer pink lip gloss.
