9 dead in Cardona, Rizal road crash

NINE people died in a collision between a jeep and two trucks in Cardona, Rizal on Tuesday, police reported.
Based on the Cardona Municipal Police Station (MPS) report sent to Camp Crame, three of the nine victims were identified as John Lester Lambrinto and Jan Brian Madaya, both students, and one named Maximo Julian.
Six of the victims are still unidentified, police said.
Police reported that the jeep collided with a dump truck and trailer truck along the LLDA National Road, Barangay Looc at 5:30 a.m.
Injured victims were rushed to Carlos Hospital.
Police are still investigating the accident as of postig time.
