Patriots’ Stephon Gilmore gets pick-six off Bengals QB Andy Dalton

With the New England Patriots leading 20-10 in the third quarter, and the Bengals having advanced to the New England 41-yard line, All-Pro cornerback Stephon Gilmore delivered one of the plays of the game — a 64-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Receiver Tyler Boyd was running an out-breaking route to the sideline, and Gilmore exploded out of his break to intercept quarterback Andy Dalton‘s pass.

Gilmore became the first Patriots player with multiple pick-sixes in a season since Tedy Bruschi in 2003. He had an interception earlier in the third quarter, making it his third career multi-interception game, and first with the Patriots.

Gilmore, now in his eighth NFL season, hadn’t scored a touchdown entering this season.
