Coquitlam police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a patient who went missing from the Colony Farm Forensic Psychiatric Hospital.
Sukhdev Singh Badyal was reported missing Saturday evening around 8:40p.m. and is wanted on a warrant of committal.
He is described as a 47-year-old South Asian man, with short dark brown hair and brown eyes. Badyal is about 5-foot-11 and weighs about 215 pounds. It’s not known what Badyal was wearing at the time he left the hospital.
“Badyal may behave in a way that presents a risk to themselves or the public, so if you see Badyal, police ask that you not approach Badyal and instead call 911 immediately,” said Staff Sgt. Tony Porato in a media release.
Anyone with information about Badyal’s whereabouts should contact 604-945-1550 and cite file number 2019-37658.
