Asean consulate-generals made first visit to OPPO headquarters

OPPO recently hosted the consulate-generals of the Asean, including those from The Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia and Laos, to its manufacturing plant located at the headquarters in Dongguan, China. The attendees were able to immerse themselves in the smart manufacturing process of how an OPPO smartphone is born. This visit is a significant moment that forges OPPO’s future development in the Asean region, further strengthening relations in line with the brand’s grand vision to better service the localized markets better.

OPPO also took the opportunity to announce exciting news that demonstrate its further commitment to local consumers by establishing the Asia Pacific Center at the heart of the Asean region in Malaysia, making it the fourth region operation center after Gurugram, Dubai, and Düsseldorf.

As we are stepping into the 5G era, we are building an intelligent connectivity ecosystem as the next driving force to strengthen the local development in the region,” said Jimmy Yi, president of OPPO Asia Pacific.
