SPIA awards PHISGOC for SEAG handling

The Philippine Southeast Asia Games Organizing Committee has been awarded by the Sports Industry Awards Asia for organizing the “best” Southeast Asian Games, citing its efforts in staging a world class opening ceremony  and organizing 56 sports and 530 events in the biennial meet.

SPIA chief executive officer Eric Gottschalk personally handed the SPIA Asia award to PHISGOC chairman House Alan Peter Cayetano and PHISGOC chief operating officer Ramon Suzara during the conference organized by SPIA Asia at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Manila.

Suzara thanked the SPIA and stressed that the recognition will inspire the PHISGOC workforce to work harde
