‘Kamurri’ enters PH, now called ‘Tisoy’ — Pagasa

TYPHOON “Kammuri” entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday afternoon and was now called “Tisoy”, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said
“Tisoy”, which is the 20th Philippine tropical cyclone for 2019, is expected to make landfall in Virac, Catanduanes on Tuesday.
Pagasa said Signal No. 1 may be raised as early as Sunday over the eastern portion of Bicol and Eastern Visayas.
The typhoon’s wide radius stretches from about 300 to 400 kilometers from its center to its outer rainbands.
