Several road sections in the Cordillera Administrative Region, Region 1 (Ilocos), and Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) are closed to traffic due to the effects of typhoon “Sarah” (international name “Fung Wong”), the Department of Public Works and Highways said yesterday.

The DPWH said that as of 7 a.m. yesterday, three road sections in CAR, one road section in Region 1, and three in Region 2 are inaccessible due to road cut, road slip, soil erosion, flooding, and unsafe road conditions from the storm.
