T.M. Kalaw in Ermita to be closed on Nov. 14 for nationwide quake drill
MANILA, Philippines — The east and west bound lanes of T.M. Kalaw will be closed on Thursday, November 14 as part of the fourth quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, the Manila Police District said.
In an advisory, it said that the eastbound and westbound of T.M. Kalaw from Mabini to Ma. Orosa will be closed from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
The Manila police then advised the following rerouting of vehicles:
- All vehicles coming from Roxas Boulevard, wanting to utilize the eastbound lane of T.M Kalaw, will instead turn left to M.H Del Pilar.
- All vehicles from Mabini St intending to drive through eastbound lane of T.M Kalaw, will turn left to westbound lane of T.M Kalaw to Roxas Boulevard, leading them to reach the point of destination.
- Motorists coming from southbound lane of Ma. Orosa, intending to utilize westbound lane of T.M Kalaw, will turn left to eastbound lane of T.M Kalaw to Taft Avenue.
- Vehicles from Taft Avenue, utilizing westbound lane of T.M Kalaw going to Roxas Boulevard, will turn right to Ma. Orosa, then left to P. Burgos.
- Motorists wanting to utilize the northbound lane of Ma. Orosa coming from U.N Avenue will go straight to P. Burgos to point of destination.
