Two Pasay City policemen are now facing dismissal from the service after they were caught collecting P100 each from bus and and passenger van drivers in a transport terminal in Malibay district.

Police Col. Ronald Lee, newly-installed director of the Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG), said the two cops were arrested in an entrapment operation.

He identified them as Police Corporal Reynald Macwes and Police Corporal Jimuel Ilagan, both assigned to the Police Community Precinct 7 of Pasay City Police Station.

“This operation was conducted because of the intelligence packet developed by the Intelligence Group that the arrested suspects, onboard patrol car were collecting 100 pesos grease money from public utility buses and vans plying daily trips from transport terminals within Malibay area of Pasay City,” said Lee.
