Two found dead inside Coquitlam home

A house in a quiet Coquitlam neighbourhood was behind police tape Wednesday afternoon after police discovered two bodies inside.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says of the two people found dead inside the Seaton Avenue home, only one was the victim of a homicide.

The circumstances behind the other person’s death is still being examined, IHIT said.

Police say the two people were known to each other and there are no outstanding suspects.

Coquitlam RCMP, who neighbours say have been present in the area since Monday, have not commented on what happened inside the home.

An IHIT spokesman says more information will be released later this afternoon.
