16 NCRPO cops caught sneaking liquor, gadgets inside Bilibid

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has subjected 16 policemen acting as prison guards at the New Bilibid Prisons (NBP) to investigation after they were accused of smuggling contraband for inmates.

NCRPO chief Brig. Gen. Debold Sinas said the items prohibited in the NBP include liquor, electronic gadgets and tobacco products.

“They were ordered to submit their respective counter-affidavit until Wednesday of this week to shed light on the issue at hand,” said Sinas.

He, however, refused to identify the 16 cops.
