5 decomposing bodies found in Benguet ravine

BAGUIO CITY –– Local police on Tuesday found five decomposing bodies in a ravine along the Marcos Highway in Tuba, Benguet.

Investigators said the bodies, which could have been dumped there about two weeks ago, were discovered after villagers in Taloy Sur complained about the stench coming from the ravine.

Also found in the ravine was a human skeleton, police said.

Police Major James Acod, Tuba police chief, said some individuals from Ifugao province have been reported missing by their relatives in the past weeks.
