Oil firms slash pump prices anew

Oil companies will again cut their pump prices, a week after implementing a price rollback.
Phoenix Petroleum was the first to slash fuel prices on Saturday, reducing the cost of gasoline by 80 centavos per liter, diesel by P1 per liter, and kerosene by P1.15 per liter. It was followed by Cleanfuel on Sunday.
Chevron Philippines (Caltex) and Pilipinas Shell will adjust their pump prices on Tuesday.
Last week, oil companies implemented a price rollback of P1.45 to P1.55 per liter for gasoline, 50 centavos to 70 centavos per liter for diesel, and P1 per liter for kerosene. JORDEENE B. LAGARE
