FOR the third consecutive year, SM Supermalls treated kiddie shoppers with the biggest and grandest #SMSuperKidsDay2019 on Saturday, October 5, at all SM Supermalls nationwide.
During their launch at the SM Southmall in Las Piñas City, SM Supermalls featured royalty-themed games, activities and entertainment. The launch also featured free fun and countless of toys, arts and craft activities suitable for princes and princesses wannabe.
“SM serves as a place for kids and their families to create great childhood memories. This October, we are bringing more fun playtime activities in our malls nationwide as we officially begin Kids’ Month,” said Jonjon San Agustin, SM Supermalls Senior Vice President for marketing.
The grand launch was also graced by actor Patrick Garcia, professional events host and beauty and lifestyle influencer Cerah Hernandez, and model-actress Regine Angeles, together with their respective families.
Also present were child stars Yesha Camille of Team Yey, Robbie Wachtel of Showtime’s Minime season three, Justine James Quilantang who appeared on ABS CBN’s La Luna Sangre as young Tristan (Daniel Padilla), and singer-actress Krystal Brimner.
Parents and children also bonded by playing indoor games and arcade stations; eating food treats; and enjoying several items that were mounted at SM malls’ event areas.
Kids also got to feel like royalty as they enjoyed the “4 Royal Fun and Play Towers of Super Kids Kingdom” – The Tower of Beauty that gave little girls a free makeover from Barbie; The Tower of Wheels where they had fun with HotWheels Royal Racks; The Tower of Gamers that welcomed kids who love different types of boardgames; and The Tower of Ponies where kids played the SuperKids Royal Dash Augmented Reality Game for a chance to win prizes.
The Kids’ Month will further delight kids and their families with shopping treats at Toy Kingdom, The SM Store, Baby Company and SM Markets plus the annual nationwide celebration of United Nations Day from October 8 to 31 and Halloween from October 18 to 31.
SM Kids’ Month also highlights the nationwide Babies’ and Kids’ Fest where parents can score up to 50 percent off on various kiddie essentials this October. Also, Superkids Jam playlist is now available on Spotify, an online music platform.
The event was highlighted by the ceremonial launch of the #SMSuperKidsDay2019 where all celebrity guests joined SM executives, led by San Agustin, who crowned all the children at the event as princes and princesses.
“From being a simple Facebook campaign in 2016, SM Super Kids’ Day has now turned into one of the most highly anticipated kiddie events at SM Supermalls as it dedicates a whole day of fun and play for Sm Kiddie Shoppers across the country,” said San Agustin.
