Fright Nights

Reapers Haunted Attraction & Maze of Terror

Reapers is an insane asylum-themed haunt bringing the horrors of crazed patients to twisted doctors and hospital staff. Potter’s House of Horrors

Every fall, Potter’s staff converts the grounds from an enjoyable, plant-filled garden centre into a maze of terror with all the latest animatronics, digital sounds, high-tech scares and trained actors to put on a fun and scary event that sends chills down the spines of all those who enter. There are two ultra-scary haunted houses, plus a Li’l Haunters attraction geared for kids 12 and under. Morgue Ghost Tours

Looking for an event to thrill, chill and excite? Start the month of ghouls and goblins with a bang! The Northern Paranormal Investigators presents two spooktacular evenings of storytelling. Northern Paranormal Investigators have been visiting the museum for several years and have done many investigations in which they have interacted with the spirits of the museum. Thousands of bodies have been through the halls (it was the old city morgue, after all) and some of their ghosts still lurk around. On these two nights, NPI members will take small groups through the museum and tell the stories of what they have found here. On stage – Dracula: The Bloody Truth

Travelling across Europe, from the dark and sinister Transylvanian mountains to the charming seaside town of Whitby, Abraham Van Helsing is aided by three enthusiastic but unskilled assistants as he illustrates to the audience the true story of Dracula. In order to tell this story, four actors portray 40 different characters. Alice: An Immersive Murder Mystery

Brace yourselves for an immersive theatre experience at the Vancouver Police Museum. Solve a crime inspired by true events and scour the old city morgue for clues. Who killed Alice? In the dying hours of Oct. 26, 1929, Miss Alice Stapleton was found dead at the Shaughnessy home of the prominent Winchester family. Miss Stapleton, the Winchesters’ nanny, was discovered lying in a pool of blood on the floor of the wine cellar. The cause of death: blunt force trauma to the head. Haunted Vancouver Trolley Tour

As the night falls and shadows begin to appear, you will be whisked away by a San Francisco-style trolley where you will see streets and homes that seem normal, but if you look and listen closely enough you will hear echoes of murders and other devastating events. Your host will tell the historic crime tales that took place in familiar neighbourhoods of Stanley Park, Gastown, Shaughnessy and more. You will drive by eerie locations and hear gruesome stories about Seaforth Armoury, Sylvia Hotel and Leg in Boot Square. The tour stops to visit Prospect Point in Stanley Park and Mountain View Cemetery in east Vancouver, where the troubled spirits occupy their time. Then it’s a walk through the cemetery to visit the graves of some of the souls featured throughout the tour. The Lost Souls of Gastown

Venture through the streets and alleyways of Victorian Gastown into Vancouver’s earliest and most gruesome history. Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tours is staging the Lost Souls of Gastown Tour every night this Halloween season. Part walking tour, part roving gothic theatre experience, the tour takes guests on a journey deep into the heart of Victorian Gastown. Maan Farms: Haunted Corn Maze & Pitch Black

A multi-sensory exhibit that brings guests into the world of farm and fright like never before with two attractions. The Haunted Corn Maze features nightmarish installations, shocking and gory scenes, as well as intimate scares. Creating a surreal world in which guests may find themselves unsure of where reality ends and the show begins, Pitch Black is a multi-sensory experience. Upon entering guests will be confronted with a critical decision: should you simply explore your darkest nightmares, or should you mark yourself to truly interact with the demons of the darkness?
