Transport strike a success- Stop and Go

A transport group leader claimed that the nationwide transport strike held on Monday was a success as most of the major jeepney routes in Metro Manila and several regions were paralyzed.
The transport strike was led by three big transport groups—Alliance of Concerned Transport Organizations, Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operator Nationwide, and Stop and Go coalition.
In a phone interview, Jun Magno, president of Stop and Go Coalition, said that while other routes were not completely crippled, operations in major routes, including Commonwealth in Quezon City, Marikina, Pasig, and Divisoria, in Manila were halted.
Magno said operations in Regions 6 and 7 were also paralyzed. LISBET ESMAEL
